Nice concept. There's something that could look better with highlights... but well... as long as this one is handmade, I know is hard to deal with them. I like the amount of details you put on this one. Nice job! =)

Great image, real book illustration feel to it and fantastic detail.. The hand is overexposed.. not sure if thats as a result of the scanning, I assume it is... As for the Jrr bit... I am a big fan of the lord of the rings, hobbit etc and thought you had made a mistake with the first name John.... so I checked with the intention of letting you know.. hehe hehe lol YOU WERE RIGHT>>>>

Well done as always Ilya. The details are amazing as are all the intricate little elements. My only crit is the placement of the edges of some of the purple highlights. In some areas, it crosses through objects where to me it appears distracting, most notably ... the faces of the main character and the dog. Maybe if the gradient between the purple and white was more gradual it would be better. Impressive as always!

Sorry,I'm late,but you know that I have my reasons to it... Fantastic atmosphere and amazing work on details. I still think that this thing on his heat is a frog (with tail,ok?!) I like the storyteller's face, it's very like you, you know, it can even work as avatar, what you think? The colours you've put add much to the atmosphere, I think you should post a bit smaller size cause I can't focuse and I think the picture's loosing some of it charm (if it possible)
